Take a driving crash course - the fast track way to passing your test
If you're looking to pass your test quickly, maybe because you need to be able to drive for your job or just because you want to get out on the road and drive, then a driving crash course may be just the thing for you.
A driving crash course or intensive driving course can be as flexible as you or your provider want them to be. The traditional crash course involves 5 days tuition with a test at the end of the week. However, you are not restricted to this format. If you already have had some driving lessons and plenty of experience, then maybe a three day intensive will be the right thing for you.
Crash Course driving lessons won't suit everyone. For some people they learn best steadily and slowly and it might be that the pressure of having the test at the end of the week may be too much pressure for some people.
When you phone to book your crash course, make sure that you are realistic about your current standard of driving and what you can achieve within a given time limit. An intensive course is not a magic short cut to passing your driving test. You still need to learn as much and be as good a driver as if you had taken traditional one-a-week driving lessons.
How much is a crash course in driving? How much a driving crash course costs will vary depending on the number of hours and what's included. Make sure you enquire as to exactly what's included. Expect to pay around £16 to £22 per hour, although a driving instructor with a high success rate may charge more. It's worth bearing in mind that on the whole you get what you pay for and cheap crash courses may not offer the best value for money if you don't pass your test!
